playstation 2 wires

ok so your probably gonna slap me upside the head for stupidity, but my brother stole the wire from the back of the playstation 2, and he wont give it back so i have to buy a new one.
I havnt been out for ages due to the leaving cert, so i havnt got a chance to go buy one.
Where can I buy one? Its the wire that connects the playstation to the wall, with the plug? do you know the cost, just so i dont turn up with the wrong amount?:D:pac:

I highly doubt they sell them in shops sonce it's only something you get in the originall box.I'd say your best bet would be ebay.

your spot on, he stole the lead for his laptops charger!! and i could use the lead from our laptop, but it would just be so much easier to buy my own instead of having to constantly switch it around!!
my ps2 is the old version, the wire doesnt have the power pack or w.e ya call it!
ok so i just had a look at my laptops charger, and the wire has 3 ring things together instead of 2, my ps2 only needs 2! >_< anyone have any ideas?

Very common cable and you can easily get them in any hardware/electronics shop.
