A tip for argos is to check argos.co.uk for the same item as it will usually have many reviews for the items. Of course some people will might not want to as they will get their knickers in a twist if the sterling price is cheaper, even if the euro price is very good. Then these idiots will just bite their nose off to spite their face and do without a good bargain.

I got my hair cut today and the hairdresser just pulled my head back and shoved the scissors up to cut the hairs there, if it wasn't for the fact she had great boobs I would have been upset, I'm going to go back once a month for a 3 around the sides and a motorboot

I do that all the time. Good tip!

I also go onto hotukdeals regularly and put Argos in the filter. Comes back with some good deals in Argos UK. Then I check the Irish site to see if there is a reduction over here. Quite often if there is major reduction in the UK item the corresponding item in Ireland is reduced.

There was a nice towel rack on the UK site for under £4 this morning. No reduction here though
