    You'll no doubt get a lot of negative comment about this (just do a search and you'll see it)

    What I would say is that its a course for beginners who want to hack they're way around and its quite dangerous too.

    Much better courses in the area especially if you're coming from a distance to play it

    I was in the minority of having something semi-positive to say about the course during the last thread (see link above) , but If I drove from Dublin for a society outing in Fernhill ,I would be furious . It shouldnt be hard to reorganise for somewhere else nearby.

    Not the greatest in Cork by a long way.
    Waterrock is good for society's though not a difficult course.

    One thing for Fernhill though is, during the week it's only €16
    Nice for a bit of quiet time and a good cheap way to practice.
