Very fine hair, how to thicken it up?

    Hi all,

My hair is very fine and a lot of styles can't be done with it. However... it is shiny which is one bonus! ATM it's shoulder length, but gets straggly very quickly if I don't keep an eye on it.

Is anyone else in the same boat, and if so, any suggestions for thickening it up?

All the girls in my family are the same to a greater or lesser degree, they don't mind, they like the shine, but I want body!!

    Thanks gals/guys

You should try volumising mousse, and blowdry your hair upside down, to give the roots some oomph. Or try big velcro rollers. And don't straighten your hair uberstraight, because that'll definitely take all the body out of it. Even simple things like brushing your hair from the underneath instead of from the top. HTH
