go into www.bhphotovideo.com, go into optics and lens shades they have every shade you want $65.00 + $35 delivery i think, about 80 euro, loads of schmidt & bender shades. ok for lamping but would'nt gather as much light with shade on stalking. best of luck.

i used to see lads get a sheet of laminated paper and elastic bands.
I find my self the most benefit of a shade is on the user end of the scope.

Most of the dazzling light is being picked up from there in my opinion, I have 2 sun shades and don't notice much difference with them on off.
You can also get silly looking hats with flaps on the peak. I have seen Target shooters use them, but saying that I have seen target shooters wear pick straight jacket type clothes as part of their outfit :D

i would agree with you there, took out the 223 with sunshade on and 243 with no shade, find if lamp is kept to my left no differance, think you might be right obj end not the problem more than likely the eye, was going to buy 1 for schmidt & bender 8x56 i bought here last week, not wasting any more money you could stay going for ever, ill buy 80 euro worth of bullets instead.
