Bionic Commando PS3 €3.99 @ HMV

    I saw this today at HMV Grafton Street, not sure about the other stores. Gamestop still accept this as part of their trade-in deals but not for long I guess...

    thats a good price. I got it in xtravision for a tenner, played it for a week finished it and traded it into game stop for alien predaror game. BC wasent a bad game to play either.

    Don't know about the Xbox version sorry and forgot to mention this is the price for brand new sealed box not used...

    This is for both the XBOX and PS3 versions in HMV now ..
    I traded it in to get Modern Warfare 2 for 5 euro in Gamestop earlier hehe

    Can someone explain this to me please? I bring Bionic Commando into Gamestop and I can get Modern Warfare 2 for €5? Is it new or pre-owned? I've never done this before. I don't have a console myself but was going to get MW for a nephew who has a 360.

    It is new and works just like you said.


    @Doyler92: I think the next cheaper one was Lost for €5.99, also checked Dundrum yesterday and prices were higher there...

    Go into Gamestop, check if Modern Warfare 2 has a sticker on it saying "€5 when you trade in a game". Ask them if Bionic Commando works for the deal, as you have it in the car or something. It should work, but a quick double check helps. Go to HMV, buy the Bionic Commando game for €4. (NB must be the same format as you want MW2 on!). Bring it into Gamestop (you might wanna take off the wrapper), bring it and Mw2 up to the counter and say you'd like to avail of the trade in deal.

    Does that clear it up?

    They didn't have it in henery's st. when I was in earlier.

    probably costs more than four quid to make the game, considering it's a blu-ray disk and packaging costs

    How much did you get for it as a trade in? I havent traded in anything for a while so have a pile of games that I want to bring in

    Checked this in Cork and they didn't have the 360 version, ps3 version was marked 17.99 as the sale price.

    You should have checked the Liffey St also, traded in the xbox version there today without any problems...

    Still plenty of xbox version left at Grafton St, check with the staff for the ps3 version...

    not surprised, I think loads of people bought it even when it was a tenner, and then used it for the Band #hero deal, so they probably have enough of them now to sink a ship
