Cables & housing

Is it worth paying more (sometimes a lot more) for cables and housing. I'm talking about the difference between Shimano 105 and say DuraAce. I'm not a racer so performance is not critical.

My bike is equipped with 105 components should I stick with Shimano cables & housing or would I be better off to change?

I thought Shimano only sold one type of cable, Dura Ace, for all groups. I've never seen 105 cables.
