Because they would be in a good position to qualify given how poor Algeria are. A 2 goal win against Algeria would guarantee their qualification unless England lost to Slovenia (wont happen). Obviously USA would rather win today, but I don't see them forcing it too much. If its level with 25 mins left I'd expect both teams to be trying to avoid losing rather than winning.

As poor as Slovenia were against Algeria, they're fairly well
organised at the back. US have more quality up front. A draw
isn't a disaster for either, so have gone with that at 11/5 with PP.

It was on betfair. He was 18 to score first. thought it was too good a price to pass up.

That ref. had something against the states. If anything the last goal would have been a penalty and he disallowed it. He made too many mistakes to retain any credibility. Worst international refereeing performance since France V Ireland in Paris.
