Racing DVD offer in Tesco.

    There is (or was last weekend) a box set DVD offer for racing fans - its 5 DVD's on racing greats (Arkle, Sir Ivor, Nijinsky, Dancing Brave and someone else I can't remember) of about 50 mins each, plus a 90 minute DVD of John Francombe's 10 jumps greats (mix of individuals and nags) and 10 flat greats (mix again).

    All for €9.99.

    I watched the John F one last night - it was shot in 2005, so doesn't have Nicholls/Ruby/Denman/Kauto/Sea the Stars, etc, but its pretty good anyway.

    Look out for it.

    Maybe it's the cynic in me, but isn't it a co-incidence that this DVD should be on offer just before Fathers' Day?? :rolleyes:
