Where to buy DVDs online

    I'm looking for a relatively scarce DVD series called Serial Experiments Lain for OH's birthday. Amazon won't deliver it to Ireland and Play.com is out of stock.

    Can anyone recommend me any other websites that sell DVDs?

    The easiest way is to go to a price comparison site like find-dvd.co.uk and search for it there - they should show you the cheapest price and who has it in stock...

    what about bestsellers.ie Anyone used them?

    Amazon gave me their "Cannot be delivered to this address" message.

    I've never seen Amazon refuse to deliver a DVD to Ireland. Could your address be blacklisted somehow?

    Could you use an alternate address, a family member or a friend's address perhaps and see if that works?

    Some Private Sellers on Amazon will only post to addresses in their country.

    Some results are buy from Amazon but two are from BlahDVD itself.

    Not blacklisted, it'd deliver 2 of the 4 dvds I wanted, but not the others, weirdly enough. Is it something to do with the New/Used thing I wonder.

    Anyway, I've ordered from bestsellers.ie now. Hopefully it'll get here in time for his birthday.

    You weren't buying from Amazon, but from Amazon Marketplace, which is where other retailers can sell their goods (like eBay or PlayTrade). These retailers can have their own postal restrictions.
