How the national fingerprint data base will be built up, Soon you will not need to be arrested to have your finger prints on record.

    "
One in three secondary schools is forcing children to swipe their fingerprints just to register in class or take out library books, it emerged yesterday.

    35lav4o.jpg

Figures disclosed under the Freedom of Information Act show how 'Big Brother' technology is becoming widespread in schools.

Thirty per cent of high schools are taking fingerprints simply to speed up basic administration such as borrowing books, registering in the mornings and buying canteen lunches".

This is a very subtle way of building up a biometric database from the younger generation. No doubt information from schools will be shared live with the authorities to keep track of students that are "on the hop" or carrying out "anti behaviour".

Cops are already being issued with GSM fingerprint scanners, so keeping tabs on them will be a doddle.

The older generation will contribute towards this national biometric data base when they take out their new credit card driving licenses.

You do realise any chance for serious debate is ruined by your use of scaremongering and ridiculous shooped images, right?

I thought britian were gonna be rolling back the big brother attitude?

    There goes that statement anyway.
Sure its moving over europe in the way of ATM's isnt it?
I've also seen an ad for paying for card transactions using your fingerprint?
It's only a matter of time before people swallow this "convenience" hook, line and sinker.

Our school brought in fingerprint scanner to monitor attendance. They proved to be impractical and a waste of money.

Children are not human beings they are terrorists!. Thats what the term is now I'd say.

I used to get mad at this, now I choke up laughing. Why try argue common sense into people, when you have to endure people parading as if this is a great idea lmao. It's a bit like when is there to much sugar on the cake?!

It's like that joke of a woman on the late late show who snapped at Jim Corr about the big brother patrol at airports etc. A woman who lives in fantasy of the real world.

But either way this insanity will end in my life time i can assure you all of that.

That woman is a disgrace. She has a filthy mouth. I've seen her a few times on T.V over the years, but I don't watch T.V anymore. Can i bluntly ask where did they find her? Where did she come out of and why does she always have to be so god damn begrudging all the time. I remember her on the late late show and she was totally rude to Jim corr for speaking his mind. She wanted the crowd for the popularity factor. But then again the crowd were a hopeless bunch when it comes to whats known as reality because they cheered her for slamming Jim..

My god, this world is more insane than one can comprehend.:pac:

They are already installed in some private schools over here. Difference with electronic voting machines is that they were proprietary, expensive and flawed from the very beginning, Thumb scanners are relatively cheap. can adapt to any PC and don't involve massive FF back hander storage costs.

Yeah up in gormo. Its just that he said it was a FF backhander, so I was waiting to hear the nonsense about people making profit from their storage.

Maybe now but this is not what I heard, a specially adapted air conditioned warehouse had to be built for them. Ill try and dig up the link.

Capital City Academy provoked uproar after failing to first seek parents' permission.

It was later forced to apologise and wiped all prints it obtained before asking for consent

From finger painting to finger printing in schools: from art to ID. Says a lot about the loss of privacy in UK society? Fits well with the prolific distribution of cams in London, to where you cannot steal a kiss without some perv watching you on a monitor.
