    I am a complete newbie when it comes to buying cars (as you probably can tell from my last posts!) Found a Peugeot 206 I like from a private seller but want to get it checked out beforehand by a mechanic although I don't know any and I don't use any garages. How would I go about arranging one. I see the AA offer the service for €199 is that real step and would I be better going for a independant one?

    Any recommendations for the Sandyford area?
