Palm Pre Apps. Where are they?

I just picked up a Palm Pre yesterday to play around with. I unlocked it and I am using it on Vodafone. The App Catalog seems very anemic. I can't find a lot of Apps that are supposed to be there- Facebook,Grooveshark and paid apps in general.
I've also tried it with a O2 sim and still no joy. Anybody Pre experts out there who might point me in the right direction?

I've been using a Nexus one for the past 5 months and in comparison, well there is no comparison....

i got it just today, webos looks nice but having same problem apps.

I used www.nextgenserver.com for a full software unlock. Never used turbosim before, they always seemed a bit finicky. From memory it cost me about €35. Its's relatively simple to do, although it won't work with Windows 7. Vista or XP is fine.
Anyway I'll probably sell my own one. As you can see from my original post , the response has been huge, and if I dare say it, a bit overwhelming.
