    Hi All

Anyone up to date on CGT, Im a lapsed accountant but have friend asking me - basically someone wants to sell a small premises for a couple hundred thousand and redistribute to his kids.

Retirement relief is out from what i understand as an investment property. Can they roll over the proceeds to governement bonds and ultimately leave it tax free in will?

    Any other options?

    Thanks

    FH

    Hi

Rollover relief is essentialy gone since 2002 unless the property was rolled over before this date.

    Kind Regards
