Try a search on Morris Oil, they do classic oils as well and have agents here.

Straight grade oil is fairly hard to source here, would an ordinary 20W/50 do?

I went in to a local motor factor for 20/50 for my 101, gearboxes take it as well as the engine, to be told " you don't want any of that stuff, it's pure sh!te" Needless to say I won't be going back there, he had no experience with older vehicles which seem to like the oil thick and treacly :) An older V8 sounds like a bag of nails on modern semi synthetic.

Ill give them a try Decky, the belfast one will be better for me, Sean 101 ihave been thinking of halfords 20/50 but it only comes in 5liter cans it would be costly especaily for monorade oil ineed 12liters for oilchange including oil bath air filter an injection pump. monograde castrol tection 30 hd or moboil delvac 1230 hd is ideal but its lits like hens teeth here in donegal or in ireland for that mater , isuppose there is not as much money in it as with modern multigrades oil.
