seriously, i love sunny days but my face gets so sweaty it's unreal! anyone know if there is such a thing as face anti-perspirant? if you dabbed a little regular anti-perspirant on your face would that work or just be asking for a breakout?

and what's the best makeup for this kind of weather? i dont usually use too much anyway, either a little maybelline dream mousse or mac liquid. little powder.

what's this primer business about?! does it keep makeup from sweating off?!

and as for tinted moisturiser, would that be better or worse?? i'm almost reaching for panstick, it seems like the one thing that might actually work!!
i just get so red faced from the sun [not sunburn] and want to look a little more cool and refreshed!
    thanks :)

Tinted moisturiser can be good but for me translucent powder is essential. If I didn't apply it every few hours my makeup would slide off my face even if winter.

Keep it shiny and wear no make up. With the glare off your face no-one will be able to see you! (tried and tested)

But if you really want to, I remember that The Body Shop used to do little booklets of powderd blotting paper that you could keep in your bag. They're supposed to keep the shine down.

I'm sure you're gorgeous either way

you could try moisturiser and powder
some moisturisers will do on their own as well

No. 7 do a mattifying primer, you could try using that before your make up.

It's a little awkward to use though and youre skin needs to be really moisturised before you put it on and it takes practice to apply properly. Works well though.

Mac do them too but I'm sure if you did some research that other make-up brands do cheaper ones.

How much is this primer? I'm looking for a mattifying primer and someone suggested Smashbox but I cant quite afford it at the moment, was going to buy a Gosh one but dont think its mattifying!?

I think it's about €15 or so. No more than that though. Be patient with it though, it takes a couple of runs to get to used to it and how to apply it properly. Really need well moisturised skin first too, definite must for it.

I've got photo finish by smashbox too, its my favourite but not as mattifying as the the No. 7
