just a mention of this laptop which can be had for cheap on dell outlet at the moment. 11.6 inch display and with a proper dual core chip (u4100). battery life will not be great with the 3 cell battery (6 cell also available) but you may not need that. I picked up one for 280 + vat (344 total) incl delivery for a 2gb 3…

I picked up one for 280 + vat (344 total) incl delivery for a 2gb 3 cell with dual core and 250gb. For anyone looking with great portability - weighs just a little more than a netbook but with much more power and hard drive space then this is a good option and the outlet prices are pretty much netbook prices anyway
