Just strike out one of the overlapping words.

Im on a fas scheme and get an extra few euroes a week. I knew when i joined the fas sceme once travel was taken into account that i wouldnt be much better off than if i had stayed on the dole. However it looks like i am going to be worse off

Will the social welfare give me any hassle if i leave the job for that reason

You do realise that most people actually pay for training? The whole point of fas schemes is to better yourself. Good luck with that one.

10 trips a week on the M50 toll knocks a grand a year out of your salary or wage. Not unusual to see 3 or 4 grand a year on petrol. Extra wear and tear on the car can easily add another thousand. So a job paying 25K can effectively be a 20K a year job.

Man with wife and 2 kids gets just over 20K a year on unemployment assistance. Crazy.

Its something i enjoy but there isnt much chance of getting a job out of it. I was prepared to break even but occaisionally i will be working late and have to get a taxi which wil cost 20 to25 euro

Stop calling it a job. It's not. I'm not having that disgrace of a dole scheme discrediting paid workers.
