The black pipe at the bottom of the photo rising up into the stopcock(the thing that looks like a tap), that's your incoming main. That should be the one that feeds your tank. It would be anyway in most normal plumbing systems. It can be easily turned off by twisting the stopcock handle in a clockwise direction.
    Hope this helps.

It is hard to tell without being there however would it not be easier to follow the pipes that are going straight up the wall. One is def not going to the tank. Thats the one with the white box on it...

Why do you need to know anyway...

Thanks for reply. Reason Im asking is because recently there is no water going to the tank. I took air from all pipes I have access to, Ive checked valve connected to the tank [one with ball] checked pretty much everything and I think its just not a problem with pipes but general issue on my estate with water pressure. If you use all water from tank in around 6pm u will have to wait until 1am. [pretty much when every one is sleeping in the area] ... I have water with small pressure in the kitchen only during the hours where is no water in the tank.

If thats the case what shall I do ? Any ideas ?
    THANKS !
