Whats the easiest way for me to do this? Simple stuff I know but I havent used dvds in years so Im totally clueless. Does Win 7 have a built in burner app that does it?

Its not for piracy purposes btw its a wedding video someone has on their pc and the original dvd is missing.

So far as I know, you need a specialised app :- to produce DVDs that will play on a regular DVD, you need to pay the DVD licensing authorities, so it's not a feature you find included in base OSs or open-source apps.

I use ConvertXToDVD, http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/ and find it works pretty well. I see it's currently €40 euros.

Yeah, ConvertXtoDVD is a good option.

AVI2DVD is a free alternative. Guide. Don't forget to burn the disc properly.

Far as I know, DVD Maker comes with every edition of Windows 7 (except maybe the starter edition found on netbooks).

50 bucks for that!! Bit steep, considering there's DVD Flick and Devede that'll do the (nearly) same for free. (I'm a cheap b4574rd :o).
