I picked it up this year and my advice would be to study Genetics and Soil ,as they always come up every year without fail, and just practice exam papers.Thats a good start. The Revision book is also very helpful.

If you have a farming background, a lot of the answers tend to be common sense... When your in the exam, just have a proper think before you freak over not knowing the answer! In the general questions, you'll be able to bluff to some extent...;):D

    Unfortunately it's not an easily marked exam...generally about 4% A's! :(

id say i got about 20 out of the 25% going for the project.
that means that i can get 30% in the exam and still pass overrall..

im also very bad at the subject as i took it up this year only.
do you think if i know the following i should pass easily..

experiments in the back of revise wise,
know the last 4 or 5 years of q1.,
    genetics and soil,
and then hopefully bluff my way through the rest??
    thanks

Yeah Id say thatd do you fine..but Id also advise you to look over that care of a cow, sheep & pig cos that comes up most years in some make shape or form! Know target weights for those too, at birth, puberty & slaughter.. :)
