    Hi everybody,

Will be heading to Donegal for the August bank holiday with my girlfriend.

Will be getting the bus from Dublin as we dont have our own transport. Looking for some advice on the best place to visit in Donegal that have nice walks, near the beach, can go cycling, quiet with good views.l

I know there is a festival in Ballyshannon this weekend so wondering if this has all of the above??

Found a hotel in Crievy Peer which looks ok but not sure??

    Any tips are welcome:)

a better bet would be to stay in bundoran, thats beside the sea has plenty of nice walks and is only 5-6 miles from ballyshannon served by regular buses throughout the day

be warned the weather in donegal even in august can be alot colder than you expect, it gets wild up there even in summer, the coldest day i have ever witnessed was a summers day in bundoran ;)
