Dreaded Blue Screen

The simplest way for me to explain this problem is , On my remote control there is an AV button which when pressed displays TV , EXT 1 , EXT 2 , etc before you got Sky regardless if you used TV or EXT 1 now I just get a blue screen if I use TV and as I have Multiroom I cant watch SKY upstairs , the funny thing is though I can watch Sky on EXT 1 AT THE MAIN BOX but not upstairs. I did all the usual checks unplugging etc but no joy. I then rang Sky who said it sounded like a signal problem and that they would increase the signal and that it could take up to 24 Hrs. Any members ever had this problem before.

It could be your tv have you tried a dvd plyer on the same scart to your tv or it might be a scart cable problem either its loose at sky box or tv or it could be Knackered. Once a scart cable is connected from tv out on sky box to Ext1 or AV1 on your tv all you would need to do is press sky there is no need to scroll through the source's.

All the scart cables are ok. I can get sky sky thru EXT 1 but unfortunately I get a very snowy weak signal upstairs from the RF outlet I have checked all the connections and the magic eyes Its the same problem with both Multi-rooms ie both boxes everything was working perfectly last night.

Patsy both your post's are confusing. your first post is related to AV/EXT problems and a blue screen

How many sky boxes do you have. are the magic eyes connected to 1 box or are they connected seperate to each box.
Is there a bidirectional amp in your attic powering the eyes. If so check and see is the amp powered and check the fuse.
Sky in the main room should always be connected by scart to AV1/EXT1. Feeding back to 2nd tv from rf2 either thru a Bydirectional amp to magic eye to feed more than 1 tv or a Direct run of cable to feed a single tv.

I have 2 sky boxes ( one upstairs and one downstairs ) Multiroom setup with both, the magic eyes are connected seperately both have a single cable feed from the rf2. On the remote controls for both TV'S Sky is tuned in on Channel 9 so when I press no 9 on the remote I used to be able to get Sky no problem, and the feeds from the rf2 worked great, now the problem is when I press no 9 on the remote all I get now is a blue screen, and when I go to Ext 1 I get Sky perfectly but not thru rf2 to the other TV'S. I could understand one box but both with the same problem sees very strange. I rang Sky and they told me to wait 24 Hrs and if the problem persisted to ring them back. I'm probably making a hash of explaining things properly and I do apolagise.

I know your Eyes wont work but unplug your feeds from rf2 and plug in to rf1 just to see will you receive a picture on 2nd tv. Its weird that seperate boxes have the same problem at the same time.
