My son is repeating his LC ( he got 200 points last year) he is hoping to improve on maths perhaps -get it up to C from D.
He has not picked out a course yet but knows he does not want to do one year course perhaps 2 yr one with possibility of doing 3rd year. He thinks maybe something around science - i have my doubts about this due to the maths involved. although the pharmacy technician looked ok ?
Anyway i don't mind what he does once he is doing something any one ANY suggestions as to a ANY course in Dublin that will keep his intrest without being overly difficult and perhaps have some prospects
    Any advise greatly recieved

I would advise your son to go here:

    http://www.careerdirections.ie/
on this site you sign up and answer questions about yourself and what kind of work your interested in. It will suggest careers based on your answers. It might help him figure out what suits him, and then figure out a course from there.

Some PLC courses can be fairly simple but I think the main thing with any course is that he's interested and has a goal at the end of it. He may just surprise you with how well he can do if he liked the subject.

Personally, I never got very good marks in school and hated nearly every subject. I'm doing better than average now in college because I'm interested in what I'm learning.
