Keep windows clean during plastering - window plaster bead

Ok people I need alittle help here. I have got my windows installed yesterday and was concerned about them getting damaged during plastering. My window man produced a sample of a nifty plaster bead (see attached) which is stuck to the window frame. You can then attach plastic to the bead to protect the glass and window frames. After plastering the plastic can easily be removed along with some of the bead leaving a clean straight edge and good seal.

He got a sample from a customer a few months ago who said he got it in a certain hardware in kilkenny...have tried here and 4 guys looked at it for ten minutes in amusement!? Does anyone know where I can get these? Or even a brand name? My window man is going to check again also. Any ideas?

Standard profile used around windows in external insulation systems.

Any of the irish suppliers should be able to help (be warned they ridiculously expensive for what they are).

I'll pm you one which might help.
