Hi guys, I have one exam to repeat this year and I'm wondering how much it cost's to sit them. I recieved enough credits to pass the year but for some reason I have to repeat the 1 failed exam anyway(don't understand it).

Also, is it true that theres a fixed fee for repeating exams whether u have to repeat 1 exam or several?

Seeing as I've heard so many people wondering about this I though it was a good idea to make a thread for other people who also don't know.

    Thanks in advance.

Have they changed it back this year? They changed to a fixed fee about 2 years ago, so it doesn't matter if you doing 1 or 3, you'll still pay the same fee.

I heard it was a fixed fee as well.

    Thanks for all the replies!

It's a fixed fee, found a letter for my repeat last year and it states that it's a 30 euro fixed fee.

Most GMIT students are not the most literate to be fair. They should stick to the farming and not be wasting their time at higher education.

FYP. Maybe you should not be all up in everyones face.I see that those arts degrees don't teach you much in terms of literacy either.

You have to pass all credits in order to pass the year, sometimes you can still progress to the next year and carry the subject but you need to keep sitting it until you pass it.

    There's a cost per exam.

Thanks mate, really have no idea why I couldn't figure that one out, quite simple really.
