Passport Application

I have filled out the passport form and have my photo's signed by the guards and will send the application tomorrow. Just checking has anyone had any Recent experience with getting a new passport and how long it's taken and what the best way to send it is. I have no holidays booked but I plan to travel around August, September??

See here for the epic mega tread on the topic. Basically, things are almost back to normal. For August/September, sending in your application by post will be sufficient.
