    Hi all,

I wonder can anyone give me a rough idea here ... how long would it take to fit a Starter on an Afla 156 (04) ?

where could I source one myself? second hand or brand new? how much do they cost?

    Many thanks lads !

    :-)

I've never fitted one to a 156, but the few I have fitted have taken less than an hour. I'd explore either getting it rebuilt or getting an exchange one - shouldn't be crazy money.

Eh, no.:) Maybe try the Golden Pages for starter reconditioning? You might find someone local who'll fit it for a few quid extra.

Do it yourself for €62k pa, it's not hard.;) Seriously though, if you want someone to look after your 156 then I don't think you'll find better than Gerry Campbell at TI Autos.

    +100 on that.

My 156 felt like a new car after Gerry gave it a once over. Highly reccomended.
