Morgan vs. Hernandez in a cage match was added on iMPACT!. Thank God Abyss has finally turned heel, it's about two years overdue.

I hope Kaz V AJ is added I'm looking forward to a feud between them

The tag title match should be epic given the teams involved hopefully the Guns win

With the direction they seem to be going with the Flair stable, I'd say Beer Money are heavy favourites in that one.

Added at the recent iMPACT! tapings were Brother Devon vs. Jesse Neal vs. Brother Ray, Angle vs. Pope and, AJ and Kaz vs. ??? (it was just said that they'd be teaming and the opponents weren't announced). On paper it looks a very strong card.

I'd prefer Styles V Kaz than them teaming up but I guess its building up their feud so who could their opponents be

Gen Me are the only team not booked on the PPV in some way though there are a lot of people (Joe, Wolfe etc.) who don't have a match either so they could be facing some thrown together team.

Styles and Kaz against Gen Me would be a hell of a match.

Yup but we would have interference with Flair all the time and the fact that Kaz/Aj will prob keep arguing . Lets hope the match gets decent time if it happens

Tentative plans call for Velvet Sky to turn on Madison Rayne during the Women's Knockout Champion's title defense against Angelina Love at next month's Victory Road pay-per-view, costing her the belt. She would then join back up with Angelina Love, reuniting the original members of "The Beautiful People."

At last night's Impact taping (scheduled to air on July 8th), Rayne challenged Love to put a retirement stipulation in their Victory Road match. She agreed and it was announced that should Velvet Sky or Lacey Von Erich interfere in the match, Rayne will lose the title via disqualification.

Thankfully, I doubt we'd get any Flair interference because he'd be wrestling that night.

Oh yea forgot about that , if Aj/Kaz vs Gen Me (if they are their opponents) in a 10-15 min match would be great

it's a shame they're doing AJ/Kaz on iMPACT and not at the PPV, where it'd be much, much better. Hopefully they do that!

Maybe there were too many good matches on the card :( Has AJ gotten a match yet? Or is he main eventing iMPACT with Kaz? Does it get decent time?

At least it's been built up pretty well, makes sense and won't be too long. AJ is indeed facing Kaz on iMPACT! which leads to Flair making them team together at Victory Road (it was never said who against), I'm not entirely sure how long Kaz/AJ got but I don't think it was very long.

The Devon turn is probably the right move, I don't think anybody wants to see 3D as singles wrestlers plus they'd fit in better with the ECW folk as heels.

Yeah, to be fair there's nothing wrong with the 3D/Seaman storyline, i just really don't care! It's supposed to get neal over but I don't care one bit for him. This leads us to the split of Ink Inc though, doesn't it? Maybe 3D will lobby for neal to be in the ECW faction, diluting the whole idea immediately!!

About AJ/Kaz on impact, that's a shame. They could've had the match on the PPV, and squabble for the next few impacts, and have them team next month.

I'd say Devon turns on Neal leading to Ink Inc. vs. Team 3D next month before 3D move onto the ECW storyline. I'd say they didn't want to give too much of Kaz/AJ away on iMPACT! because that's probably going to be on PPV down the line with one of them getting into Fortune - the match at Victory Road will probably just lead to more dissension.

Now that you said it both sound extremely likely! (Post Russo on top Era of TNA making much more sense) Sure sounds good, hopefully they don't do a different storyline before getting a PPV match out of AJ and Kaz

Williams vs. Kendrick in an Ultimate X Submissions match will open the PPV. Graphic for Styles and Kaz vs. ??? and ??? - let the speculation begin (personally I think the one on the right looks like Daniels).

TNA have put together a great-looking card, and I really think it'll be a show worth watching. It really depends on how the best matches are booked, and how long they're given. But we're surely in for a great show.

I could talk for ages on each match, but match quality-wise :

    Four Way
Decent, but no real story told in the match. RVD has been doing nothing this past month, as Abyss and Hogan, and Jeff & Anderson have been in their own storylines. Hopefully TNA don't put the belt on Abyss to set up a title match against Hogan at B4G :(

    Flair Lethal
Could be great, depending on how it's booked. Lethal losing in a competitive match would be great. Unless it's an absolute stinker, it's win-win for Lethal. Been really well hyped.

    Pope Angle
Should be match of the night. Angle's on top form (giving Anderson the match of his career at Lockdown) and Pope is a very good wrestler.

    Morgan Hernandez
Neither can carry a match or tell a story, so it won't be great. Hopefully it's kept short and uses a lot of big power spots. Steel cage gimmick is probably for the best!

    Kendrick/Williams
Same as last month, decent wrestling-based match; opening the PPV

    Beer $ vs MMG
This won't be their MOTY 2008 candidate, but if given time and free reign, it could be great and steal the show.

    Love vs Rayne
Meh. Although Rayne has gotten a lot better. Me sense a swerve!

    Kaz/Styles vs ??
Probably vs Gen Me...Or Joe + Partner. Where's Suicide! Anyway, should be good, as both Kaz and Styles are always entertaining in the ring. The tag format should keep things well-paced....unless it's vs Nash/EY

    3D Meltdown
Meh. Hopefully kept to a minimum. The crowd don't care for Jesse Neal. But they storyline makes sense.

9 matches on the card So i'm worried the crap matches will be given more time and will get boring, and the great matches will be shortened. On paper, every match can get ~20 minutes including entrances, so hopefully 3D, KO, Morgan and Flair matches are all under 10 :D

I actually quite liked the story they told for this match. They built Abyss up as a monster and a legit threat and they showed on iMPACT! that if the other three team up they can beat him but then they teased the every man for himself bit with Anderson and RVD having a little stare off over the title. It was much more subtle and interesting than TNA normally do (maybe too subtle).

On Lethal/Flair I think Lethal has to win. Flair isn't good enough anymore to have the type of match where the loser still looks good and Lethal would benefit much more from winning than Flair would. The feud though has been built up really, really well and depending how the match goes, Lethal/Flair could be a candidate for feud of the year. I'm hopeful about the timing of the show as Sacrifice and Slammiversary both had nine matches and the timing of each match was more or less spot on. Actually, I'd love if Michael Shane and Daniels were Styles and Kaz's opponents.
