It seems there are a couple of options, brass-guard, TNTQ, and now ebaybanned. What do people find are the most reasonable/value for money ones?

wait for the ebaybanned one dave, its mesh and flexible so you can shape it to your face and its cheaper than the others. Another benefit of the mesh over fabric and plastic ones is that your breath doesn't get channeled up into your goggles/glasses.

Is there an official release date for ebaybanned? Just says Coming soon

Also, If you wrapped these mesh faceplates with a fabric (some sort of camo as opposed to painting it) would it still allow for breathing and non-fogging glasses?

Why not just paint it camo? Covering it would defeit its purpose i would of thought unless you used very thin material maybe??

I'm on the market for one of these, might hit up quality for one however, shipping from ebairsoft is slow and I have been face brapped too many times in the last few weeks.

Usually around 2 weeks, sometimes 3. Gonna be picking myself up a pair on EB.

Edit: Just got a new vest from EB this morning. Took 9 days from the time of ordering.

I just got one of the Brassguard ones because I find the Quality Airsoft Supplies one (which looks identical to the Bitter End one) pretty uncomfortable. The Brassguard one is a little heavy but shaped nicely to the face. The cheek-bone protrusions are a bit extreme though and interfere slightly with using sights, so I'm going to bend them back in a bit.

Ye they are not the most comfortable, not too bad if you put some extra padding by the nose. I think its the fact that the mesh is too thick and is hard to bend easily to contour with the face.

I got a mask from Bitter End.

Ordered on Monday, acknowleged on Tuesday (13th in queue), built on Wednesday, shipped on Friday and arrived the next week. 60 bucks, all in. Top class service. Very happy with it so far.

Bit pricey, but about 900 euro cheaper than a new tooth. I hope the newer ones will become popular, every face should have one.

Myself an some of the lads have bitter end lower face masks. Top quality and I believe he is now doing camo paint as part of the service. Previously he would only do camo or custom paint if he had time.

Shipping is very reasonable and fast especially considering its from the US. Good communication from the retailer as well.

I'm getting another mask for a mate and am seriously considering his top end Wiley CQC mesh goggles.

Edit meant to say agree with Ozcam and Beez

Got my ebaybanned lower face mask today. My advice: don't bother. It was falling apart by the time it got to me. They appear to hav tried to stick the elastic surround onto the mesh with silicone, and it'sjust flaking all over the shop and coming off. Epic fail.

Has anybody tried Heroshark from arnies mesh goggles or masks

I know this may be a little silly but why pay 60 dollars(50 for the mask and 10 for the postage) for a mesh mask when you can get them in Ireland for 30 euro and also means you have somewhere to go if you have any issues with it?

If the one from America breaks, is not up to scratch nothing you can do about it.

i got one from the lads in newbridge , it took about an hour to bend and shape to make it fit my face but it's fine now, i wore it for the whole week end in senny and it was fine, you just need to spend a bit if time fitting it to the shape of your mush and they are 100%
