Bargain Alert: Basic Cateye Cycle Computer

It's not a big saving but I just noticed this Cateye Strada Cycle Computer is on sale in Wiggle at the fine price of €23.35. If you're not looking for a high-end computer with cadence and heart rate monitoring, this has all the functionality, you'd want.

In my opinion, wired computers are simpler, more reliable and only use one battery which needs to be replaced. Wireless makes sense if you're using a HRM but isn't necessary if you're only looking for basic functionality in your computer.

Also: you might be better off calling it a speedometer while talking to non-cyclists as they'll give you funny looks if you talk about your "computer". :p
