Trying customise my home home screens as its starting to lag something serious as I have apps and shortcuts on all but 2 screens.
So, what do you have on your home screens? Get my creative juices flowing! :pac:

What I have at the moment

Screen 1 (main) - Clock with weather, silent mode, wifi, mobile internet, facebook, handcent, market, fx camera.

screen 2 - email widget with gmail.

Screen 3 - Apps with dolphin HD, ebuddy, sky news, and a few other games and apps.

Screen 4 - Blank (Im re-orginising at the moment)

    Screen 5- Photos widget

Screen 6 - Cubed music player widget, last FM widget.

    Screen 7 - Blank.

Good idea, this. How are the screens officially "numbered"? I would look on them as 6, 4, 2, Main, 3, 5, 7, how do others number them?

I haven't bothered with mail widgets because I find the notification pull down is almost like a widget in itself, one tap of a notification takes me to the gmail app or the mail app (synced with my Exchange server). I also have the "magnifying glass" search button set so a long press of this brings up Quick Settings. This saves me having to have shortcuts to wifi on/off, bluetooth on/off, etc. This frees up loads of space so I only have 4 pages used so far.

Main Screen: Smallest HTC calendar widget showing my next appointment, small Twitter Android widget, smallest weather widget, smallest cubed music player widget, shortcuts to dolphin browser and camera. I wish I could assign a long press of the Menu button to camera, though.

Screen 2: Widgets for Engadget, RSS feeds, Dictionary.com's word of the day.

Screen 3: App shortcuts for Gmail, Handcent, Mail, Listen, Jelly SMS, ATK, Easy Note, ES File Explorer, Market, Talk, Layer, Fring and the newly added Divx player mentioned in another thread.

    Screen 5: Browser Favourites widget.

    Screen 4: Games shortcuts

The rest is free space, waiting for more apps!

I would number them -3 -2 -1 0 1 2 3, set up as follows, internet bookmarks widget, Facebook widget + shortcuts , Twitter for Android widget + engadget widget, clock/weather widget + shortcuts to browser email and camera, Android power widget battery usage and battery time lite, also widget for turning on and off mobile internet. next page. has music and YouTube widgets, last page has full month calendar view.
