Contract with private care in NMH

Hi there. I have been to an appointment with the private consultant, and he said they do not offer their patients the contract to sign. Is this some kind of a screw up and should I insist? I thought all private maternity units offer some sort of an agreement on their terms and conditions, or is that a hospital-specific…

I was private in H Streeet two years ago and never got a contract or anything.

i've never heard of a contract like that in this country only in the USA.
