Return of item bought under guarantee

    I bought an item from a german online vendor. The manufacturer has a 1 year guarantee on this item and suggests that customers should contact the vendor they purchased from to avail of this.

    The vendor is failing to respond to my mails.

    Anyone know what entitlements I have here?
    Anyone been in this situation? Whats the best way to proceed?

    If you get back in touch with the manufacturer and let them know the problems you are having with the vendor any reputable manufacturer should let you return the item directly to them to resolve the problem

    Thanks mate - its taken two weeks but the vendor finally responded this morning. Sending it back in this evenings post.
