Bassist and R.Guitarist - seek Muse Cover Band and.. writing originals (Dublin)

Hi,

I'm a musician (primarily a bassist/singer), 24, from Malahide, North Dublin.. Playing bass for a number of years, tight groove since I play some drums. Also a bit of keys/piano.

I have a friend who will also be involved in the project, with excellent voice and rhythm guitar skills.


So, we're looking for some open-minded people to jam with.. 2 people really (Age range: early/mid twenties):

A) A lead guitarist who likes to explore new sounds/synth stuff, ideally with some skills on the keys and vocals

A drumming genius, who plays a wide range of styles and is happy to work tightly with the bass and electronic percussion


I'm a big fan of Muse and introducing electronically derived sounds into progressive rock. So what I'm proposing is firstly an entire recreation of many of their sounds as they have much to teach in this light.. Nothing too serious, just the opportunity to learn at the same time as jamming.

Influences include: Radiohead, Jamiroquai, RHCP, Beirut, Blur, The Frames, The Strokes, F/Ferdinand, Electric Six, Killers, Prodigy, Thom Yorke, Thin Lizzy, KOL, Scott Walker, Santana, Jarvis Cocker, Kick, Interpol, RATM....


Next, having learnt from this experience I would like to go onto working on original material, sure a few covers as well. I have kept a scrapbook of many decent riffs and rhythms over time, many of which would be useful for songs. Of course, I am very much open to others making substantial contributions, all the better!!!


So, hopefully there's some like-minded people out there!!! If so, love to hear from you! Let's JAM!!

hey 19 year old drummer.. absolutley love muse and can drum to most of their songs!.. been in a good number of bands over the years.. got pretty decent gear.. get back to me if ya still need a drummer
