Oven Turning itself off

    My over has recently developed a strange problem, it heats up, works for about 30 minutes then shuts down.

    This happened with the old oven in the house last week, so we contacted the landlord and he provided us a full suite of new kitchen appliances (i do love that man) because i assumed it was the old oven at fault. I installed the new appliances without any problems only to find out i still have the same problem with the oven.

    After about half an hour the oven restarts and works away for a while.

    Its electric, and the hob is wired into the same point in the wall but the hob has no problems at all.

    Does anyone know what else i could check to get this fixed?

    Already checked;
    - mains connection at wall and at the oven itself
    - replaced oven
    - mains board in house

    post the make please

    an oven should cycle on and off to regulate he choosen temp but not half an hour

    one thing to check is ventilation to the oven ,the thermo cut off cut be being activated if there is a buid up of heat ,this would cause the oven to shut down till it cools down

    yeah its defo a problem with the cut out
