Im 22 have been working mostly full time in barwork for the last year. Recently some weeks I have been rostered for just 3 days because it is not that busy. It isin't every week do sometimes I get 4 or 5 days then the following week I just get 3 days. I also work a good few sundays. Would I be entitled to anything for the weeks I only get 3 days or would be impossible to apply for anything because a 3 day week is often followed by a 4 day week for me? Also what about the weeks I do 4 shifts but only do maybe 20 hours? Like it seems a bit unfair that I go into work 4 nights a week sometimes while others with no job at all can make more per weeek!

Get your employer to write you a letter stating that your hours are not regular and vary from week to week. You should be entitled to job seekers benefit, you will receive casual work slips, yellow slips, which you will in every week and the weeks you work 3 days you 'll receive payment for two, obviously if you work more you payment will be less.
Ring your social welfare office and they'll set you straight.
