    Anybody planning on doing it this year, should be good craic. Was a great event last year set on the grounds of Waterford Castle. Tasty burgers afterwards as well.

    Registered myself yesterday,must collect the t-shirt tomorrow.

    It was a great day out last year,on the secluded island,ferry over,nice course,great bbq and atmosphere afterwards...sun splitting the rocks,
    but it was only 4.6k :(...i am told it will be the full 5k this year.
    Guarenteed PB as i have never raced one yet.

    Sounds fab, has anyone a link?

    Is it a family day too (with the bbq etc?). I'd love to bring the husband and baby.

    You should be able to enter on the day - unless it sells out in advance, limited to 300 people.
