New Laptop Advice - 12.1"-13.3" or 14" screen for <€700

Hi,

I am looking for a small and powerful laptop. I know what I want but it seems difficult to get a laptop with a screen size of less than 14" for around €700, the cheaper the better. Was looking at a few 13.3" ones which are very expensive!

I had a look at the ultra portable ones but I might need a DVD drive too so those ones are of no use to me.

Basically what I want is:

At least a two core processor from intel but AMD might be ok if there is a big price difference.

At least 2GB RAM but 3 or 4GB will be better.

Minimum 250GB HDD

CD/DVD Drive

A good graphics card won't be using it for games so almost anything will do.

OS is not a problem.

A good battery life.

Most important is that it should be less than 14" and minimum 12.1".

Already had a look at Lenovos and Dells.

Looking for something similar myself but haven't had any luck, also I need at least a 2.0Ghz processor in addition to everything else you've specified

Would be nice if you can point out where the samsung q320 can be got for a good price...

Now it is a bit difficult to go by the speed! simply because some are dual core etc and all that... a 1.3 or 1.6 Dual Core should be the same or better than a 2.0. or so thats what I think.

I am leaning towards the Lenove ThinkPad edge! No laptop has managed to beat that in terms of specs, price etc...

well the hp can be got for about €699 and the q320 is more expensive but worth it for €799 considering the spec it has
