iPad unable to connect to wifi

When I try to join my network on my iPad it tells me it's 'unable to join network ''<ssid>''

My iPhone and laptop can connect to the same network just fine.

I've tried 'Resetting Network Settings' and rebooting the router.

Any ideas? I'm with Eircom and have a Netgear router if that's any use

Try do a firmware update on the router. It happened to someone I know and that sorted out the problem.

Did you reboot the iPad? Often its the quickest and easiest fix.

Just did a firmware update there but still no joy

I've also tried turning the iPad off/on multiple times :(

Will iPad connect if the router is unsecured? Or if you change security from WPA2/WPA to WEP for example?
Is your Router address in the 192.168.1.xxx range or have you changed it?
If you've changed it, make sure you change the DNS also on the iPad.
Lastly, can you get in to your router 'config' on iPad using the blue arrow > where your router shows up in wifi settings?

Since he's on an Eircom router its most likely change from WEP to anything else.

Has the iPad been able to connect to the network before?

Good news. I pressed the reset button on the back with a pin and reentered the DSL and network settings then it connected no bothers. So presumably some setting was blocking it before??? Anyways, I'm off to play with my new toy :D Thank you all for your help
