    Whats the point?

They are able to run Blue-ray and 3D but they decided against it to "Work on there xbox live" instead

Waste of a new console if you ask me

I do plan on getting a 360 again at some stage for Gears 3 so I might get one, depends on price and all that, and its still ages away yet so I can wait.

It'll probably still RROD very easily.

    No thanks.

Me and Kendi played the Kinect a couple of weeks ago here in Dublin. Pretty good but I can't see hardcore FPS guys queueing up to get it. The Mickysoft guy was telling us its to widen the demographic and tempt more kids and women into getting an xbox.

100% getting this. My xbox is on its last legs so this came out at the perfect time. Built in Wifi is a major plus for me.

Well I feel a bit silly. I went and bought a new Elite just about 4 weeks ago. Only cost me about €130 with trade in, but still. Since the new elites don't suffer from RROD's, I'd assume these ones won't either, but you'd never know.

Oh, why is this in the COD forum rather than the XBOX one?

Prob will grab one as my 360 Pro is a good 2.5 years old at this stage and although being sent back a new one since RROD, I'd like a HDMI out, bigger than a 20Gb HDD and WiFi, so it would suit me perfect

Wont bother, already have a n series adapter on my xbox so no "upgrade" for me, it'd just be a new casing. The only draw as far as I can see is that they are Kinect ready and wont need an additional power source for the kinect mortised tilt but thats not an issue til kinect is out in November and even then its not much of a big deal.

The new hard drives in these models are not interchangeable with original models though so if you wanna bring your drive to your mates it wont work.
