Aer Lingus Site wont recognise Laser Maestro Card to book flights?!

    Am here in New Zealand trying to book Heathrow - Dublin, have tried two laser maestro cards but get the error message "invalid card number". Can anyone confirm if this is a site error or if they do not take laser anymore?

    I'm sure that they do. Can you use the .ie site or change your country on the main page to 'Ireland' and try again.

    Just found out that as the flight is UK - Ire, it will only accept UK maetro cards. Absolute shambles IMO. I wonder if I buy Aer Lingus vouchers with my Irish card could I use em to book the English origin flight?!

    When you buy vouchers, I think they have to be in the currency that the flight will be in. So check that you are getting GBP vouchers if that is what they quote for the flight. If you are unlucky, GBP vouchers can only be bought... with UK cards.
