    Hi all,

I've a small 2008 Quintanna Roo Seduza TT Bike for sale and a tacx flow turbo trainer. The bike has had little use and never been raced. Just can't fit it in with work.

I've no pics of my own yet but it is the same model (in standard form) as this: http://www.gumtree.ie/dublin/89/56185989.html

I'm 5ft 5 and I'd say you would get away with been a little taller. The tubo trainer is working perfect.

The bike cost €1800 last year and the turbo trainer cost €240. I need the cash, so I am open to reasonable offers.

    Any questions, fire away.

PS, I'm in Monaghan but can take the bike to Dublin any day.

How close is the spec of your bike to the one on gumtree? Any differences? What ball park price are you expecting? Pics would be good.

Likewise for the turbo - pictures and a link to something similar would be useful with an asking price. Ta.

Thanks for the interest. This is the model here: http://www.tacx.com/en/producten/ergotrainers/flow/index.dot

Based on the fact I paid €240 8/9 months ago and have never got great use of it, I'd like to get about €200 for it.

Let me know what you have in mind. It's of no value to me sitting in the spare room.

I posted the link in a bit of a rush, and seen the small picture of the saddle was different. From reading the spec on the ad. it is the exact same as mine. Given there's only a couple of hundred kms done on it, mostly on the turbo, and will come with a cyclops computer, saddle bag, mini pump, €1200 would have to be about my bottom line.

Way above my budget. If you are pricing it like the gumtree ad with the same spec let me know

Fair enough. No idea on how much use the gumtree one has had so I can't really compare.

€1k would be my bottom line.

I'm building or buying a TT bike in the next 2 weeks so if you decide to drop the price in the meantime let me know

No problem. I won't be dropping below €1k, but good luck with your purchase.

Thanks for the info Carb. Regardless of how it was used, €40 is a poor discount for the product being sold second hand.

I think €140 is be a very reasonable offer, subject to inspection.

It was actually bought second hand. These cost around around €330/40 depending on exchange rates etc. so already has taken a huge hit. A further €100 hit is extreme for at most 10hrs use.

TBH, I'd more than likely hold on to it for a couple of months for the winter market than let let it go for that price.

    Thanks anyway.

@Carb: nice gear, reasonable prices (IMO). You might want to stick some proper pictures up to demonstrate the condition.

Fair enough, I thought you got it at €240 brand new. I'll half the drop then and throw my final offer of €190 into the ring.

Perhaps I'm too honest for my own good, but are you sure you have done what you intended to do there.:)

    BTW, where are you based?

Thanks Lumen. Nicer if I wasn't selling it.

I take your point on the photos. Will probably get around to it at the weekend. The safest place for the bike at the moment is on the turbo, Unfortunately the junk room the turbo is in doesn't eactly provide an ideal background.

If you want to sell it to me cheaper than €190, I'll be happy to accept! I'm based in Kilkenny but I'm sure something can be worked out.

That's good enough for me. Have you anything in mind regarding the logistics of this.

    Looks like a deal here.

Forgot to mention that I have an unused boot mounted bike rack still in it's box if anybody is interested. €50 ono.

    Is this still for sale?

    Quick of the mark :(

I'm interested in the turbo if the deal falls through. Are you ever down Cork direction?
