Tesco: Philips SHN2500/00 Noise cancelling headphones €6.47

Just picked up a set of these headphones in Tesco for €6.47 reduced from €24
They get mixed reviews on Amazon and the uk argos site but for €6.47 , I think they are quite good.
They come with different size ear caps, airline adapter. large phono plug
One negative is that the noise cancelling unit is a bit chunky and seems to work by increasing volume with a slightly more bassy sound. I found them to be quite a good fit and the sound was ok

I had a pair of these before. You need to be very careful with them as the wire inside seems to get weaker and it starts to pick up noise until the point were the signal completely goes.

Got the last pair in Mahon Point. Regardless of how frail they are, for €6.47 (inc. batteries for the noise cancelling box!) they have to be worth it!
