Heading to Killarney from Dublin on Friday til Sunday night. 3 of us going, 2 from North of the Red Cow but one from Dundrum. Trying to think of a place where the Southsider can meet us but can safely park their car as it's going to be thre til Sunday. Is the Luas car park at the red cow safe or can anyone recommend a place to park for 2 days that doesn't require massive deviation off the main road?

I can suggest a good place for them to park; their house :D It wouldn't be much of a deviation for of you to pick them up and drop them off or perhaps pick them up in town if it's handier for you. The LUAS park and ride is charged at €4 per day so it's cheap but it is unmanned and it's a quiet spot at the weekends; for the sake of saving maybe 20 minutes on the road you are leaving their car on it's own here for a few days.

Your friend in Dundrum could get the 75 bus to Tallaght and then hop onto the Luas to the Red Cow. Or they could get the Luas to Stephens Green then walk to Abbey Street then get the Luas to the Red Cow.
Though picking them up in Dundrum might be best.

Thanks! Will work it out somehow - both the driver and the Dundrum passenger are my friends but don't know each other very well. Was just trying to minimise the hassle for the driver as it is so amazing that they have volunteered to drive for this particular weekend ;)

Could they leave the car in the Red Cow Hotel car park possibly?
I can't rememebr if there are any signs there saying it's for patrons' use only.
