Silage yields in the west are very poor.
Dont know if this is nationwide, if it is we are facing a major winter feed deficit.
In the past Teagasc researchers have said the same amount of grass grows every year ?
hopefully we will see a great bust of groth soon:confused:

serious amount of growth in the north east in the last while - where the last few years we where short on grass we have too much now - had a great cut of silage , just goes to show how different parts of the country differ
