    Hi everyone

Heading over to Albufeira with 5 other lads on Friday for a week. We're all aged 19-20 and I'm just looking for the lowdown on what the beaches are like, whats the best pubs/clubs, price of alcohol, any waterparks near by, any water sports, any interesting things to see etc :D

We're staying about halfway between the Old Town and the Strip if thats any help to anyone. Any advice is welcome!

I wouldnt bother with Zoomarine, its really a kids place. some really nice animals and that there but the shows they put on are aimed at the under 6 so I wouldnt bother wasting a day there. Waterpark was closed when we were there (April 08) so cannot comment on that. We stayed in the Old Town some really nice pubs and restaurants in the Old Town square. We stayed away from the strip. would recommend going to a bull fight

how did i forget to mention this...would definately recommend doing the Buggy Safari! Buggy Safari. you need a drivers licence however
its absolutely brill day out! best day of our whoel trip! they pick you up at hotel round 10 and your not back til 4/5ish if i remember correctly. lunch is included. just remeber to wear very old clothes cos you will never get that mud out after! we were head to toe in mud coming back..we had the walk of shame through the hotel lobby..could see the cleaner tutting in corner after the mess we left behind! such great craic tho!
tickets can be bought at tickets offices in old town..thats where we got ours. would get them early cos some days were booked out when we tried to book
