I was browsing for parts at a Sennheiser website. I noticed that the founder of the company, Fritz Sennheiser, died recently, at the age of 98, 17 May, 2010.

He started the company in his thirties, in 1945, but had already been involved in cryptography earlier in his life, during World War II.

sennheiser cx 500 and px 100 I have had for years. Even when I fall asleep on them in bed and I wake up with them underneath me,they live to play another day.
