Have you tried Puma Kings? The OH swears by them for GAA as do most players I know, expensive enough but you get great wear out of them too. :)

+1 for puma kings cant go too wrong with them have a pair of xl golds great boot.
Umbro specialis are good boots as well and they last long.
Mizunos are good boots too had a pair of them before and they lasted ages and were comfortable too.

+ 1 for puma kings - you don't even notice you're wearing them

Puma Kings or Adidas World Cups. Studs for soft ground, mouldies for hard ground.

Invariably the best boots are the lightest ones that feel the most natural. You'd want to be careful - buying heavy boots that twist your footfall will put pressure on certain muscles and increase injuries. Also, I would suggest doing any running outside of training barefoot if possible. ;)

I've the Copa Mundials, absolutely brilliant - if you are having such problems with shin splints, it might be helpful to go to a physio and see about orthotics to put inside your boots.

Waste of money. Once again, just get boots that are as light and 'natural' as possible, and if you are a jogger go to a field and go barefoot. People shouldn't be jogging on pavements etc anyway.

Nope, they aren't - one of the best things I have ever gotten in my life, completely changed the way I walked and ran. Made a huge difference to my posture and the way I ran, and the way I played tbh

I remember seeing an opponent wearing O'Neills boots a couple of years ago which I presume were designed with GAA in mind. Anyone ever had them?

I've got Nike Tiempos myself which I'd recommend.

most classic boots - umbro speciali, adidas world cup, mizuno rugby boots, puma kings, nike tiempos all do the job. flashy boots like nike vapors are too light.

The tiempos (classic ones) are a slightly wider fit than the Copa Mundials, I've worn those a couple of times (brothers pair, same size as Copas) and found them quite different to the Copas. All about personal preference and width of your feet :D
