Pausing an update?

    I got a 3GS today but the person i bought it off had put 4.0 on it. I wanted 3.1.3 on it instead so am currently in the middle of updating it. Its taking way too long though. Is it possible to pause/cancel it and unplug the phone so i can turn it back on?

    you can't really pause and update, you'll have to wait until it's finished because otherwise you risk damaging the phone.

    that really goes for any phone really, plugging it out when you're doing a firmware upgrade is pretty risky business.
